Williamstown 71 Sterling 67 | Boys | Sterling MLK Classic

The Braves led by as many as 14 points in the third quarter before the Knights tied it up late in the fourth. Williamstown hit its free throws down the stretch though to knock off Sterling on MLK Day for the second year in a row. Cristian Mazzamuto scored a game-high 22 points, while Fred Orock added 18 points for the Braves (6-7). Walt Garrison scored a team-high 18 points in his debut for Sterling (11-2) in the loss.

Teaneck 80 Columbia 76 | Boys | Freedom Fighters Hoops Challenge

Towson commit Tyler Tejada dropped a game-high 29 points and 11 rebounds to spark a spirited fourth quarter come-from-behind win for the Highwaymen. Teaneck (11-3) trailed 69-57 with five minutes left when the defense forced a number of key turnovers and Teaneck cut into the lead. Tejada connected on a go-ahead and-one with 1:03 left in regulation to take the lead for good. Jayden Myers led Columbia (10-3) with a team-high 22 points in the loss.

South Plainfield 52 New Providence 46 | Boys

South Plainfield (11-2) defeated New Providence (9-3) 52-46 to bounce back from a GMC White Division loss to North Brunswick. The Tigers trailing after the first quarter were locked into a tight first half contest, leading 21-19 at the break. A season high 22 point game from senior Tareak Williams allowed South Plainfield to hold off the Pioneers late in regulation.
