Delbarton 2 Seton Hall Prep 2 (Green Wave in PK’s 4-3) – Boy’s North Non-Public “A” Final

Kyle Swift made two consecutive saves during penalty kicks to give the Green Wave a spot in the Non-Public “A” state championship.  After Seton Hall Prep tied the game in the second half on a blast by Jon Ned, twenty scoreless minutes in overtime led to drama in the PK’s.  After Liam Bertrand made nine saves for the Pirates, Tomas Hut came in at keeper during the penalties and came up with two saves. Seton Hall Prep was one kick away from advancing, but Swift forced a sixth round after making a save.  Following Sam Burvill’s second goal in the PK session, Swift made one final stop to end a tremendous match.  JSZ has the highlights and post-game reaction from Millburn High:

Rutgers Prep 2 St. Rose 1 – Boy’s South Non-Public B Final

Rutgers Prep made school history Thursday evening by capturing the program’s first South Non-Public B Sectional Title with a 2-1 victory over ninth seed St. Rose. The Argonauts got ahead early with two first half goals from Sophomore Demetri Zambas. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:

Holmdel 4 Shore 0 | Boy’s Central Jersey Group 2 Final

After losing a heartbreaker against Ocean in the Shore Conference Tournament, Holmdel has been an unstoppable team. The Hornets ripped through the Central Jersey Group 2 field by outscoring opponents 27-1. The finale came Thursday when junior forward Jack Giamanco buried two goals en route to a 4-0 win against Shore Regional. It’s Holmdel’s second consecutive CJG2 title. JSZ’s Jay Cook has highlights:

East Brunswick 1 Hunterdon Central 0  | Boy’s Central Jersey Group 4 Final

Washington Township 2 Jackson Memorial 1 | Boy’s South Jersey Group 4 Final

Arturo Serano and Jake Logar scored first-half goals to pace Washington Township to a fifth consecutive South Jersey Group 4 title.  SNJ Today’s Mike Frankel has the highlights from South Jersey:

Ocean 2 Colts Neck 1 | Boy’s Central Jersey Group 3 Final

Santieno Harding’s goal in the 76th minute would prove to be the game-winner as Ocean Township captured the Central Jersey Group 3 title in a 2-1 win over Colts Neck. James Schutz also provided the first goal of the day in the 13th minute. JSZ’s Jay Cook has the highlights from Ocean:

St. Rose 1 Trinity Hall 0 – Girl’s South Non-Public B Final

St. Rose took home their first Sectional title since 2010 on Thursday night, as they defeated Trinity Hall in the South Non-Public Group B Final. Julianne Leskauskas, the Rutgers commit, scored the lone goal for the Purple Roses less than 10 minutes into the first half. St. Rose will take on Morristown-Beard on Sunday morning for the overall Non-Public Championships. JSZ’s Madison Bess has the highlights:
