Spots in Phillipsburg and the individual girls state wrestling finals were on the line at Williamstown and Union. JSZ has highlights of both regions and has a look at the eight wrestlers in each weight class that get the chance to compete for state titles next Saturday.
The individual wrestling state tournament is underway. The girls step up first with two regional tournaments. The top four finishers in each region advanced to next Saturday’s state finals at Phillipsburg High School. A total of eight wrestlers (4 from North, 4 from South) punched their tickets on Saturday.
