It’s opening night of high school basketball in New Jersey! Roselle Catholic 74 Trenton Catholic 53 

The reigning Tournament of Champion winners, Roselle Catholic might not be ranked as the No. 1 team in the state, but gave a statement with their opening night 74-53 win over No. 15 Trenton Catholic. University of Kentucky commit Kahlil Whitney and UNLV bound Josh Pierre-Louis put on a high-flying frenzy of what we can expect from the two in their collegiate careers. Ranney 84 West Nottingham Academy (Md.) 72

Bryan Antoine scored 36 points and Scottie Lewis nearly had a triple-double with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists as the Panthers open the 2018-19 season with a quality win against the prep school out of Maryland.  Alex Klatsky had 16 points and freshman Elijah Perkins poured in 13 in his varsity debut.   JSZ has highlights from the Panthers season opener in Tinton Falls:

Rumson-Fair Haven 66 Monmouth Regional 43

Ian O’Connor had 25 points and 17 rebounds and Jackson McCarthy added 17 points and 13 boards as RFH busted open a three point halftime lead to score a convincing Shore Conference “A” Central road win.  JSZ has the highlights from Tinton Falls:
