The Montgomery Cougars relied heavily on the performances of their midfielders, sophomore Payton Edward and junior Trisha Pimenta, as they took on the Voorhees Vikings during week one of their season. Last year, the Vikings where 18-3-2 after winning their first sectional title for the first time in 10 years. Lucky for the Vikings, they retained talent as they have Brooke Hyland and Cassie Boyce back on the field as sophomore leaders this season:
