Millville 40 Mainland 7 | West Jersey Football League
The Thunderbolts trailed 7-6 at halftime, but Alabama commit Lotzeir Brooks absolutely took over in the second half. Brooks finished with four touchdowns, including one of the craziest catches of the season. Aiden Dawkins added a pair of TDs in the win for Millville (3-0), which handed the Mustangs their first loss since the Bolts beat Mainland in the 2022 Group 4 state semifinals. Colt Russo had a touchdown catch for the Stangs (2-1) in the loss.

Hopewell Valley 47 Notre Dame 21 | West Jersey Football League
Ben DeCore ran for 189 yards and four touchdowns and Milan Desai threw three touchdown passes to lead Hopewell Valley to its first win against Notre Dame since 2016. The Bulldogs avenged a one point loss to the Irish last year which knocked Hopewell Valley out of the playoffs. Owen Lengle had two touchdown catches in the win with Justin Klotz catching the other score.

Mount Olive 49 Randolph 14 | Super Football Conference
Tyler Cumming, Brayden Longo and Jekori Zapata each scored two touchdowns as the Top-20 ranked Marauders pulled away in the second half to win big over a fellow Morris County rival. Cumming led the way with 20 carries for 179 yards on the day for Mount Olive (2-0). Lincoln Youtz led a stingy Marauder defense with three sacks in the win. Randolph (1-1) led 14-7 early in the second quarter before allowing 42 unanswered points.

Toms River North 54 Jackson Memorial 10 | Shore Conference
Cam Thomas had four catches for 140 yards and two touchdown catches along with a 50 yard punt return for a score as part of a devastating first half put on by the Mariners offense. Dan Valerio was 8 for 8 for 220 yards in the air, three TD passes and two rushing TD’s on the way to a 48-3 halftime lead. Toms River North is now 3-0 on the young season.

St. Augustine 21 Cherokee 7 | West Jersey Football League
The Hermits used a stifling defensive effort to shut down the Chiefs on the road and score a big divisional victory. Julian Turney paced the Hermits offense with 146 rushing yards and a touchdown. Liam Flynn stole the show with an incredible touchdown catch, while Roman Coney added a receiving touchdown of his own for St. Augustine (3-0). Dante Harrison and Daniel Cruz teamed up for a punt block return touchdown in the loss for Cherokee (2-1).
