Gloucester Catholic 10 St. Thomas Aquinas 0 (5 Innings) | Non-Public “B” State Final

Tate DeRias threw a five inning no-hitter with 13 strikeouts and the Rams used a seven run first inning to set the tone for the program’s 21st baseball state championship.   DeRias struck out the side in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th innings and only allowed two baserunners with a pair o walks in the second.  Jake Terranova made a diving catch to end the top of the fifth to preserve the no-hitter and the Rams added three runs in the bottom of the 5th to clinch it with Brady Belfus providing the walk-off smash to left center.
