Ryan Miqueli delivered a clutch two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning and then came out of the bullpen in the seventh to preserve the win with a strikeout. St. Peter’s Prep (11-7) is getting hot at just the right time – this victory all but secures the top overall seed for the Marauders in the upcoming Hudson County Tournament. Ray Stein pitched 6.2 innings and struck out 11 to earn the win. Union City (11-6) had RBI singles from Jean Luca Calderon and Guillermo Soto in the fifth inning.
