Ridgewood 5 IHA 3 | Bergen County Tournament Final (Girls)
Ridgewood leaned on its vaunted defense and timely scoring offensively to pound their way to their 16th-consecutive Bergen County Tournament championship. Sarah Marcovichi had a two-goal game and led an offensive attack that produced additional goals from Lindsey Devir, Julianne Flusche and Ashley Geyer. Goaltender Morgan McGahan played the second half and made four clutch saves to shut IHA out in the final 25 minutes.

Jamie Mazzacco had a first-half hat trick and freshman Sam Madalone had a stellar game with three goals and four assists to give the Blue Devils a spot in the Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinals. Drew Walenty’s 36th goal got Jackson Memorial within 3-2 at the end of one but Shore would rattle off 12 straight goals to cruise to the victory.
