The weather seems to be behind us and the state is making up for lost time.  We’ve got three great games from Friday on the diamond!

Ocean Township 3 Freehold Boro 0

Tommy Kowaliwskyj pitched 6.1 shutout innings and Ben Robinson came on to get the final two outs to combine for the shutout as the Spartans open the 2024 season with a Shore Conference “B” North win.  Kowaliwskyj gave up three hits, walked five and struck out seven.  The Spartans scored single runs in the second, third and fifth innings thanks to a bases loaded hit by pitch, an infield RBI single by Jack Kelly and an insurance run on an error.
