St. Augustine 13 Kingsway 4

The Hermits pulled away from the Dragons late in a battle between undefeated South Jersey squads. Iona commit Josiah Ragsdale gave St. Augustine (8-0) the lead with a two-run triple in the fourth inning. Austin Sofran finished 3-3 with three RBIs in the win, while Mason Dorsey also went 3-3 with an RBI triple. Evan Mangifesta has an RBI for Kingsway (8-1) in the loss.

Cranford vs. South Brunswick | Autism Awareness Showcase

No. 18 Cranford improved to 8-2 following a 19-7 victory over South Brunswick. The Cougars fell behind 4-1 after the second inning. However, Cranford would score four runs in the top of the fifth to take a 7-4 lead. South Brunswick would tie the game thanks to a three run home run from Ethan Fantel, but a 12 run sixth inning put this one out of reach late. Shea Grady and Ryan Jaros both with finished with two RBI’s, Shane Van Dam went 2-4 with two RBI’s, Jack Conley went 3-5 with two RBI’s and Lucca Limeira led the way, going 2-5 with four RBI’s.
