Mount Olive 30 Brick Memorial 26 | Group 4 State Semifinal

The Marauders return to the state final for the first time since in two years after knocking of the Mustangs in a rematch of the 2022 Group 4 championship. Lincoln Youtz clinched the dual at 165 after Mount Olive (16-4) won six out of the last seven contested bouts of the night. Matteo Eagleson swung the momentum of the dual after a thrilling 11-6 decision victory at 126. Jack Torre and Santino DiMatteo picked up major decision victories for Brick Memorial (12-5). Mount Olive advances to face Ridge for the Group 4 state title on Sunday.

Rumson-Fair Haven 53 Caldwell 18 | Group 2 State Semifinal

The Bulldogs had six pins and ten total victories to reach the Group 2 state championship for the first time ever.  Rumson got an opening match pin from Evan Ridgway at 157 pounds and Luke Dougherty scored a come from behind 4-3 win at 175 pounds.  Hudson Skove was the Bulldogs second pin and after losses at heavyweight and 106 pounds, RFH pulled away with Julian Duque clinching the win with a fall at 132 pounds.  Rumson-Fair Haven will face Jefferson on Sunday at Rutgers in the Group 2 state championship.
