There were plenty of fireworks on the final Friday of the high school hockey regular season as JSZ brings you a pair of great matchups from the ice!


Don Bosco Prep 3 Delbarton 0

James Tarabocchia turned in one of his best performances of the season to guide the top-ranked Ironmen to victory against the third-ranked Green Wave. The senior racked up 38 saves and picked up the shutout in net for Don Bosco Prep (17-1-1). Massimo Monteleone and Niko Pappachristou netted goals in the third period to seal the win. George Cote finished with 25 saves in the loss for Delbarton (12-5).

Colonia 11 Princeton 2

Woodbridge Township (8-5) scored a big 11-2 win over Princeton (5-9) thanks to a seven goal performance from senior Ryan Lukko. With the game tied at 1-1 in the opening period, Lukko scored three goals to close out the first for a 4-1 lead, he would score two more times in each of the remaining periods and also had three assists while fellow senior Chris Walusz finished with three goals and three assists for a hat trick.
