Paramus-Mahwah-Lyndhurst 3 Clifton United 2 | Big North Silver Cup Final

Givanni Masi worked his way around three defenders to break a 2-2 tie with 5:18 left in the third period to give PLM its first Silver Cup since becoming a tri-op.  Paramus and Mahway previously won the Silver Cup in 2012 and 2010.  Clifton United (11-9) took a 2-1 lead early in the second period on a brilliant redirect from Trevor Rascher.  St. Joe’s-Montvale transfer Eric Cadou tied the game on a breakaway setting the stage for Masi’s game winner.  PLM (12-9-2) is on a seven game unbeaten streak heading into the co-op state playoffs.

Robbinsville-Allentown 5 Paul VI 4 | Puchalik Cup Final

Robbinsville-Allentown (18-4) have added hardware to a remarkable season. With their second win this year over CVC rivals Paul VI (16-4), the Ravens captured their third Puchalik Cup. R/A’s top line of Jake Lachance, Jack Lawrence, and James Morino combined for four goals and three assists, as this exceptional senior trio continues to prove they are one of the best lines in New Jersey. Tournament MVP Lachance scored the go-ahead goal with under four minutes remaining, extending the Ravens’ all-time scoring record to 105 after breaking it in the tournament semifinal. Head Coach Dan Bergan cemented his place in NJ hockey history with his 250th career win.
