St. Joe’s (Mont.) 66 Teaneck 51 | Boys

After a nearly two-and-a-half week delay to start the season, St. Joe’s (Mont.) came out blazing to win their season-opener. Senior Daniel Lans delivered both a game-high and career-high 26 points for the Green Knights, who are the reigning Bergen County Jamboree champions. Thomas Bertussi chipped in 16 points for Joe’s, as well.

Gloucester Catholic 101 Clayton 94 | Boys

The Rams (6-1) survive a second-half surge from the Clippers (3-4) to pick up its fourth-straight win in a wild Tri-County Conference matchup. Ryan Roney reached the 1,000-point milestone earlier this week and continued his strong season with a game-high 27 points on the night. Ter’Meir Hill scored a team-high 18 points in the loss.
