This win sends Old Bridge (10-1) to their first sectional championship game since the 2012 season. Nugent tallied four total touchdowns (three passing, one rushing) to power the Knights in a back and forth game. Sayreville (9-2) rallied from a two-touchdown deficit thanks to a 216-yard, three touchdown game from senior RB Shaun Jackson.
