Hillsborough 19 Hunterdon Central 13 (2 OT) | Big Central Conference

Hillsborough (6-1) defeated Hunterdon Central (4-3) 19-16 in double overtime to pick up a third straight win. The Raiders trailed 13-0 after the first quarter and the game remained at the score entering the fourth quarter until touchdowns from Jackson Jankowicz and Roberto Santiago tied the game at 13-13 to end regulation. Santiago would catch the game-winning touchdown in double overtime, he finished with 123 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Timber Creek 21 Hammonton 14 | West Jersey Football League

The Chargers displayed plenty of resilience as they scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to stay undefeated on the season. Chase Conway rushed for 77 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter in the win. Karon Brookins hauled in a touchdown for Timber Creek (6-0) as they clinched at least a share of the WJFL Memorial Division title. Ethan Peterson caught a pair of touchdowns and had an interception in the loss for Hammonton (4-3).

Millville 38 Shawnee 14 | West Jersey Football League

The Bolts trailed 7-3 early in the second quarter, but quickly stepped on the gas versus the Renegades. Jacob Zamot threw four touchdown passes in the win for Millville (5-1). Lotzeir Brooks had two TD grabs, while Syracuse commit Taron Haile and Xavier McBride also caught a touchdown apiece. Joey Zamot led the Bolts defense with an interception and a sack in the contest. Joe Papa threw two touchdown passes for Shawnee (3-4) in the loss.

Toms River South 31 Pinelands 17 | Shore Conference

Jimmy Alexander had a 68-yard touchdown pass to Danny Pierson and two touchdown runs to pace the Hitting Indians to a fifth straight win and clinch at least a share of the Shore Conference’s Liberty Division title.  It’s the first division title for TRS since 2002.  Pinelands had a 10-8 lead at the end of the first quarter after Ty Kline’s 71-yard TD pass to Mike Frawley, but Alexander scored from eight yards out in the second quarter and TRS never surrendered the lead.  The Indians were a perfect 3 for 3 in two point conversions.

Red Bank Catholic 25 Middletown South 14 | Shore Conference

The Caseys were on upset alert trailing to the Eagles in the first half before Frankie Williams threw a pair of touchdown passes to Luke Krzyzkowski to take a 19-14 lead.  Matt Lonczak’s 15-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter sealed a fifth straight win for RBC.
