DePaul Catholic 31 St. Peter’s Prep 21 | Super Football Conference

Marquan Carter had a career high 145 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries and the Spartans scored on offense, defense and special teams to hand the Marauders (6-1) their first loss of the season.  DePaul Catholic (5-2) took a 14-7 lead on AJ Larkin’s 90-yard kickoff return for a score and Jaxon Bastante had a 75-yard scoop and score to extend the Spartans lead to 21-7 early in the third quarter.  St. Peter’s Prep stormed back from 17 points down in the third quarter with Tyler Bell connecting with Abdul Turay on a 30-yard score and and Amari Jones from 19 yards out to make it 24-21.  But the Spartans gave the ball nine times to Carter who covered all 70 yards of the drive that put the game away capped off by an 11-yard TD run.

Paramus Catholic 30 Red Bank Catholic 16 | Non-Conference

The Paladins may have taken some tough losses throughout the 2025 season but were able to big up a huge win when it counted. Paramus Catholic (3-5) leaned on their defense and a green sophomore quarterback to put an end to the Caseys’ bid for a perfect season. Sophomore AJ Lopez had a pick-six while Rowan Martin threw a pair of touchdown passes in the win. Red Bank Catholic (7-1) never led by fought hard in a game that will have major implications for seeding the Non-Public B state tournament bracket.

Hanover Park 29 West Essex 28 | Super Football Conference

Hanover Park rallied late to reclaim the Cardone Cup in a 29-28 thriller over West Essex. Senior quarterback Jack Kovacs threw three touchdown passes, including a 4th-down strike to Rocco Zirpoli and a two-point conversion to Garrett Walters that gave the Hornets (8-0) the lead with under six minutes left. West Essex (4-3) drove to the goal line in the final seconds, but Hanover Park forced a fumble in the end zone to seal the victory.

West Orange 14 East Orange 13 | Super Football Conference

Farad Green’s second touchdown run of the game in the second quarter was the game winner as the Mountaineers handed crosstown rival East Orange (6-1) its first loss of the season.  The Jaguars took a 13-7 lead on Zach Concepcion’s 45-yard pass to Alex Hanks before West Orange (6-2) secured the win thanks to Green and no scoring in the second half.

Washington 39 Kingsway 36 | West Jersey Football League

Trailing by 12 with just over six minutes remaining, the Minutemen battled back to beat the Dragons and stay unbeaten. Jyair Moore had an electric go-ahead touchdown to cap off the comeback for Township (8-0). Colin Beeler rushed for a pair of touchdowns in the victory. Cole DeNick found the end zone three times, while Mason Bryan caught a TD pass, returned a kickoff for a score, and had an INT for Kingsway (6-2) in the loss.

Brick Memorial 19 Southern 14 | Shore Conference

The Mustangs fended off a late charge to hand the Rams their first loss of the season and pick up their third-straight win. Jason Lajara finished with 345 total yards and 3 total touchdowns in the victory. Joe Livio went for a career-high 141 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Ricky Dillon hauled in a 25-yard touchdown for Brick Memorial (6-2). Luke Iorio had 75-yard kickoff return touchdown and Aidan Covell rushed for a touchdown in the loss for Southern (7-1)

Montgomery 43 Sayreville 15 | Big Central Conference

Despite facing New Jersey’s top rusher, Shaun Jackson, the Cougars dominated the second half. Holding a slim 16-15 lead at halftime, Montgomery (6-2) erupted after the break, outscoring Sayreville 27-0. Caiden Miller powered the offense with a career-best four rushing touchdowns. Jackson, the state’s leading rusher, provided an early spark for the Bombers with a 94-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and finished with 150 yards on the ground. The Cougars handed Sayreville (7-1) their first loss of the 2025 season with a convincing statement win
