The Hun School faces national power St. Frances Academy, Point Boro and Brick Memorial go down to the wire in the Shore Conference, and Camden surges late for a big win in WJFL action. St. Frances Academy (MD) 37 Hun 6
Jae’Oyn Williams threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Panthers handed Hun their first loss and slowed down an offense that came into the game averaging nearly 45 points per game. St. Frances Academy scored a win at St. Joe’s-Montvale at the beginning of the season and showed why they are one of the top teams in the country. Hun (6-1) came into the game with six wins in six different states.

Point Pleasant Boro 27 Brick Memorial 24 | Shore Conference
Nick Spanola had 142 yards and three touchdowns on just seven carries and the Panthers held off a furious fourth quarter comeback to score a big road win in a matchup of top-5 Shore teams. Point Pleasant Boro had a 24-3 lead in the third and Jack Sullivan’s second field goal gave Point Boro a 27-10 lead early in the fourth. The Mustangs got TD’s by Nazeer Whittaker and Jason Lajara to get within three points but Point Boro was able to make a late stop to hang on for the victory.

Camden 18 Timber Creek 7 | West Jersey Football League
The Panthers rallied in the fourth quarter to knock off the Chargers in a defensive battle and give head coach Rob Hinson a victory against his former team. Christian Braxton powered The High on the ground with 181 yards and two touchdowns in the victory. Wagner commit Malik Redd hauled in the go-ahead touchdown for Camden (5-2). Zyeir Green had a receiving touchdown and an interception on defense in the loss for Timber Creek (4-3).
