Westfield 4 Livingston 2

A potential McInnis Cup and Public state final preview, No. 6 Westfield and No. 11 Livingston went to battle on Friday night inside Codey Arena.

Livingston defeated the Blue Devils 6-1 in December, and they started out just as hot here with a 2-0 lead into the 3rd off of two Matthew Zocks goals. Then, Westfield caught fire in the final frame with 4 goals: one each by Liam Duffy and Tyler Bergman, plus two from Liam Reed. Westfield now improves to 13-2 on the year, while the Lancers fall to 13-3.

Paul VI 7 Bergen Catholic 6 (OT)

Paul VI (13-3) and Bergen Catholic (7-6) delivered a game of the year contender in their first meeting on the ice since 2018. After falling behind 3-0 in the opening period, the Eagles mounted a thrilling comeback with four consecutive goals. After a flurry of back-and-forth goals, it was senior defenseman Mason Jones who capped an incredible game with the golden goal in overtime.
