A pair of divisional battles take centerstage in JSZ’s Friday night coverage. In boys hoops, Wall tries to stay unbeaten against Middletown South in our ACI Medical and Dental School Game of the Week. Plus, the Glassboro girls look to stay atop the TCC Diamond Division as they hits the road to face Woodstown. Stay tuned as the highlights are posted throughout the night!


Wall 53 Middletown South 39 | Boys

Brian McKenna had 17 points and sparked a 7-0 run to close out the third quarter and give the Crimson Knights (15-0) a share of the Shore Conference’s “A” Central division title.  Trailing 32-30, Wall took the lead late in the third and pulled away with a dominant fourth quarter performance.  Dan Hennessy added 12 for Wall who are in line for the top seed in the upcoming Shore Conference Tournament.  Middletown South (11-7) was led by freshman Evan Wells 15 point effort.

Glassboro 53 Woodstown 36 | Girls

Kezia Brackett delivered another standout performance to keep the Bulldogs atop the Diamond Division standings in the Tri-County Conference. Brackett, who also won JSZ’s Week 3 Girls Basketball Game Ball, poured in a game-high 31 points to lead the way in the victory. Lily Czubas chipped in with nine points for Glassboro (12-5). Kendall Young went for a team-high ten points, while Lauren Hengel added eight points in the loss for Woodstown (8-10).
