It’s Week Four in New Jersey high school football!  JSZ brings you action from every part of the state including a big showdown between Hillside and Bernards, Antonio Alfano and Colonia impress, plus come from behind wins for Red Bank Regional and Lenape.  Watch our preview of Friday coverage and scroll below to watch all nine games of action:

Lenape 27 Allentown 24 

After a 1-3 start to the season defending South Group 5 Champs Lenape really needed a win. However, it didn’t help they had undefeated Allentown waiting for them in Week 4. After a back and forth battle the Indians trailed late in the game, but thanks to a 90 yard return from Brandon Carter Lenape was able to squeeze out an exciting last minute win. Hillside 23 Bernards 13

The Hillside Comets kept an impressive eight-game win streak dating back to last season alive thanks in part to a huge game from Shadon “Oodie” Willis. His 70-yard TD catch will be a Week Four Top Play nominee and he also had an INT to secure the win in the final minutes. Red Bank Regional 23 Ocean Township 13

Makai Mickens had 214 yards rushing and three touchdowns as the Bucs rallied from a 13-0 halftime deficit to improve to 3-1 on the season.  The Red Bank Regional defense held Ocean to -5 yards on the ground.  JSZ was there for the comeback in Little Silver:

Rumson-Fair Haven 48 Freehold Boro 7

Alex Maldjian had 10 carries for 142 yards and 2 TD’s and Collin Coles threw three TD passes as the Bulldogs put on another impressive display to reach 4-0 on the season.  JSZ has highlights of the Bulldogs under the Friday Night Lights in Rumson:

Union 27 South Brunswick 14

Union quarterback Andrew Sanborn threw three touchdown passes in a dominant performance over the state-ranked South Brunswick Vikings. The Union Farmers, who now sit at 4-1, have knocked off state-ranked teams in back-to-back weeks. JSZ’s Bryan DeNovellis has all the highlights:

Willingboro 14 Cinnaminson 12

Nasir Murray caught an 8-yard TD pass from Au-Shaun Davis with 1:48 left and Demie Sumo’s two-point conversion run proved to be the difference as Willingboro wins its homecoming game at a neutral field at Moorestown High.  JSZ has the highlights of a thrilling finish:

Nottingham 7 Hopewell Valley 0
