Notre Dame 8 West Windsor- Plainsboro South 5

Notre Dame and West Windsor Plainsboro South continuing the Colonial Valley Conference’s tour at Arm & Hammer Park in Trenton on Friday afternoon. South took a commanding 4-3 lead heading into the fifth. However, Notre Dame would score 5 in the inning to go up 8-4 and would no let up to hold on for an 8-5 win. Army baseball commit Robbie Buecker went 2-3 for the Irish and contributed 4 RBI’s. Watch the highlights below:

Seton Hall Prep – 5 Caldwell – 3 

The Pirates of Seton Hall Prep, (5-1 on the season, No. 12 in NJ Top 20) found themselves trailing Caldwell on two separte occasions in the late innings. Down by 1 run in the 6th, Ryan Sheppard came up clutch with a RBI double off the wall in right to tie the game at 3. Sheppard then scored on a basehit by Anthony Peterson to give Seton Hall a 4-3 lead. The Pirates would add one more run in the 6th to make it a 5-3 lead and RHP Ryan Toal took care of the rest in the 7th. Toal picked up the save and Seton Hall Prep came away with the comeback win. Jackson Memorial 9 Toms River North 5

The Jaguars are 6-1 after wiping out a 5-0 deficit at home against Shore Conference “A” South rival Toms River North.  After Jared Bellissimo and Sam Angelo belted two run homers to stake TRN to a 5-0 lead, the Jags got a run in the 4th, three in the 5th and then a big five-run 6th inning capped off by a Troy Bathmann 2-run homer.  JSZ has the highlights of Jackson Memorial’s big win:
