Shore Regional 6 Red Bank Catholic 5 – Double OT

Ryan Morris scored his second goal of the game in double overtime to give the Blue Devils a thrilling win at home on Saturday afternoon.  After losing to the Blue Devils 18-10 last year, RBC showed its made strides battling back from a 3-1 halftime deficit to tie the game at four at the end of three quarters.  After Gil Goldsmith gave Shore a 5-4 lead early in the 4th quarter, Kyle Boggio tied the game with 1:37 remaining in regulation.  In the second OT, Shore goalie Scott Sirianni made a key save, Jake Shirley scooped up the ground ball setting up the game winner by Morris.  JSZ has the highlights from an exciting Shore Conference battle:

Seton Hall Prep 16 Rumson-Fair Haven 6

Cole Kirst scored four goals and Jack Sarson had a six point game with three goals and three assists to lead Seton Hall Prep to a dominant road win at Rumson-Fair Haven.  JSZ has highlights featuring one of NJ’s top boys lax programs:

Northern Highlands – 14 Pope John – 3

Northern Highlands improved to 5-0 on the season an impressive 14-3 win over Pope John in Allendale. Christian Lane, Michael Marino, and Max Paparozzi combined for 10 of the 14 goals, with the Max Paparozzi adding 4 assists to give him 7 points on the night.
