As the Garden State sits quietly on an icy Friday night, Jersey Sports Zone is pleased to bring you some of the best boys ice hockey action in NJ. Watch highlights from the following games:

Randolph 2 Summit 1

Scott Kimiecik turned away 27 shots as the Rams won the battle of unbeatens at Aspen Ice Arena.  Randolph got a first period goal from Nick Civetta and a second period tally from Max Gaudioso to jump out to a 2-0 lead.  Greg Moller got the Hilltoppers on the board to make it a 2-1 game at the end of two periods.  The third period saw Summit apply immense pressure, but Kimiecik was outstanding between the pipes and led Randolph to improve to 10-0-3 on the season.  Summit is now 11-1 as both teams showed why they are among the best in the state.  Watch the highlights of a big Rams win and post-game interview with Scott Kimiecik:

Livingston 1 Montclair 1

No. 18 Montclair in the NJ Top 20 came into Friday’s ice hockey battle with the upper hand having just won their tournament title earlier this week. However, Livingston with just two losses on the year was up for the challenge and played incredible defense thanks to goalie Matt Delseni. A back and forth scoreless battle was ended with two early scores in third from both teams, but this one would end in a stalemate to send Montclair to 9-1-2 and Livingston to 5-2-4. Watch the highlights now:

Ridge – 1 Bernards – 0

Bernards’ goalie Liam Kelly was tremendous in goal for 2 straight periods, holding a power Ridge offense scoreless. Just one minute into the 3rd, the red devils offense was able to break through. Blake Loges scored off of a deflection, and Ridge goalie Jack Richter completed the shut out as Ridge improves to 8-2-1 on the season with a 1-0 win over Bernards. Watch full highlights below!
