Special thanks from Jersey Sports Zone and an announcement

We are overwhelmed and grateful to the incredible turnout for our 2017 JSZ Football Plays of the Year.  With over 150,000 votes, we realize that many of our nominees were spreading the word around the state to watch our videos and vote for your favorite player.  As a way of saying “thank you”, we are going to honor the top two vote getters in each category at the Jersey Sports Zone Football Banquet on December 7 at the APA Hotel in Woodbridge.  Thank you again to everyone who voted and here are the winners of the JSZ Football Plays of the Year for 2017:

TD Run: Eddie Morales, Howell and Bill Hackett, Trenton

TD Pass Play: Michael DeSantis/Travis Thomas, South River and Cameron Carti/Andrew Perez, Seton Hall Prep

Special Teams TD: Sean Spina, Ridge and Mack Byrne, Holmdel

Defensive TD of the Year: Jordan Morant/Javontae Jean-Baptiste Bergen Catholic and Caleb Stokes, Ewing

Sack of the Year: Anthony Corbin, Bergen Catholic and Nick Densieski, Saint John Vianney

Stick of the Year: Liam Donohue, Rumson-Fair Haven and Markus Bagley, St. Peter’s Prep

All of our Plays of the Year winners will be presented with JSZ Game Balls at our Football Banquet on December 7.
