Rumson-Fair Haven 36 Red Bank Catholic 33

The two time defending Group 2 state champs rallied from a 29-13 deficit to score a come from behind win over the Caseys in a great early season dual out of the Shore Conference.  Back to back pins by RBC’s Luken Ramos and Anthony Russo gave the Caseys the 16 points lead with six matches to go.  RFH rallied thanks to a Hunter Curley pin followed by a Sonny Amato forfeit.  Ryder Izzo gave the Bulldogs the lead for good at 190 with an 8-3 decision and Luke Dougherty got a tech fall at 215 to clinch the match for Rumson.
