A Thursday morning at RWJ Barnabas Health’s Field of Dreams in Toms River brought a big-game atmosphere that is usually reserved for Friday night lights. Wall and Toms River East’s unified flag football teams got the opportunity to play a game that showcased special needs athletes in a special environment. Toms River East brought their band, while Wall had student mentors working alongside their players. Both schools brought cheerleaders and student support and the result was an exciting atmosphere.
