St. John’s commit Sebastian Varallo netted the go-ahead goal with 3:24 left in regulation and finished with a hat trick as the top-ranked Hermits scored another win against a North Jersey power to close out the regular season. UMBC commit Chris Marino went 13-for-18 on faceoffs to help control the action, while Richmond commit Kyle Helphenstine made a couple of clutch stops late to finish with ten saves for St. Augustine (14-2). High Point commit Chase Houser, Brown commit Pierce Bolger, and Bucknell commit Jack Sheridan scored two goals each in the loss for fifth-ranked Delbarton (16-6).
