When you watch Koleton Marquis play the game he loves, it’s almost like it’s in his blood or a part of his DNA.
The fact is, that’s not too far from the truth.
Marquis is from the Kahnawake native reserve in Quebec, Canada. He came to Don Bosco Prep to play high school lacrosse and made memories immediately as a freshman.
He’s since blossomed into one of the best players in New Jersey and one of the more dynamic players in the entire country.
Don Bosco head coach Brendan Gorman said the Ironmen adopted Marquis’ Iroquois roots and heritage into their No. 1 state ranked program. By the way the last two seasons have progressed, it certainly seems like it’s worked out for the best.
