Summit 9 Gill St. Bernard’s 3 | Kirst Cup Quarterfinal

The Hilltoppers started fast then stepped on the gas late to get by the Knights in the first game of the inaugural Kirst Cup. Vermont commit Sean McCeney had a four-point day (two goals and two assists) while James Grainger added a pair of goals in the win for fourth-seeded Summit. Will Deo, Griffin O’Sullivan, and Brendan Schwalb scored in the loss for fifth-seeded Gill St. Bernard’s. The Hilltoppers will face top-seed Delbarton in the Kirst Cup semifinals on Thursday.
