Both St. Joe’s and Notre Dame came into Thursday’s Egan Cup match up riding impressive early season starts. The Egan Cup that is comprised of St. Joseph (Metuchen), Notre Dame, Montclair Kimberley, Red Bank Catholic, Paramus Catholic, St. Joseph (Montvale) and St. John Vianney will continue into late January to determine who will play in the semifinals round in February.The Falcons got an lead early thanks to a first period goal from Ryan Ozmanic that was followed by two more scores from Steven Hollabaugh (2nd Per.) and Dylan Castello (3rd Per.) to get the win over the Fighting Irish. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez was there for all the action!
