Carnell Davis made an instant impact once he became eligible for St. Augustine last fall. The junior standout was a force on both sides of the football, at defensive back and wide receiver, helping to lead the Hermits to the Non-Public Group 4 semifinals. Davis announced his verbal commitment to Rutgers on Tuesday, as he plans to stay in the Garden State and suit up for the Scarlet Knights.
