SPP Hockey, Pezzolla Dazzle in Dominant Win over Seton Hall Prep

Go ahead and call St. Peter’s Prep forward Ty Pezzolla “The Magician.”

Pezzolla had three points, highlighted by a dazzling top-shelf backhand goal as he was falling to the ice, to help St. Peter’s Prep capture a 5-3 win over Seton Hall Prep Wednesday night at Codey Arena.

The victory marks the first time since the 2015-2016 season that the Marauders captured a regular season sweep over the Pirates. St. Peter’s Prep outscored Seton Hall Prep, 10-4, in two games this season.

The Marauders (6-3) are now well in control of first place in the Gordon Conference’s National Division as the Pirates (9-5-1) sit in third place. JSZ’s Jay Cook has all the highlights from West Orange:
