South 19 North 18 | 2025 Phil Simms North/South All-Star Football Classic

For the first time since 2018, South has finally reclaimed victory over North in the Phil Simms North/South All-Star Football Classic, ending a seven-year drought. In a thrilling and hard-fought battle, Woodbridge senior quarterback Derek Anderson was named the Phil Simms Offensive MVP, showcasing a series of spectacular throws to Toms River North wide receiver Nasir Jackson. Derek wasn’t the only Anderson that walked away with hardware, as his brother, Bryan Anderson, earned the Jim Jeffcoat South Defensive MVP Award. The game reached a dramatic conclusion as Atlantic City’s Khajuan “Peaky” Rosborough sealed the win with a game-clinching interception as time expired, putting an exclamation point on a long-awaited victory for South.
