Dean Peterson was a long-time commitment to Princeton University, but on Friday evening, Rutgers announced that the 2-time state champ from St. John Vianney has signed to wrestle in Piscataway with the Scarlet Knights.

Peterson won 72 straight matches as a sophomore and junior on the way to two straight state championships. He vaulted to #1 nationally at 126 pounds but didn’t wrestle in his senior season due to a injury. He was 108-2 in his high school career as he will be eligible immediately for Rutgers and could wrestle at 125 or 133 pounds. Check out Peterson’s big moments from his high school career:
