Saint John Vianney quarterback and 2015 SSZ Zoneman Trophy winner Anthony Brown signed his national letter of intent to play ACC football at Boston College

Saint John Vianney quarterback Anthony Brown is wasting no time to begin his college football career.  The 2015 Shore Sports Zone Zoneman Trophy winner signed a national letter of intent to play college football at Boston College and will enroll on campus in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts in January.  Brown committed to the Eagles over the summer after seeing his stock rise with an Elite 11 national semifinal invite to California.  Over the last two years, he guided Saint John Vianney to 21 wins.  His senior year saw him top 2000 passing yards to go with 34 touchdowns and just five interceptions.

Anthony Brown won SSZ’s Zoneman Trophy, given to the top player in the Shore Conference as voted on by the head coaches and SSZ owner Rich Chrampanis.  An award that began in South Carolina, previous winners include Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons, Florida State quarterback Everett Golson and current Clemson wide receiver Hunter Renfrow.  Boston College is coming off a 3-9 season with an 0-9 record in ACC play.  With Brown arriving on campus early, he’ll have an opportunity to compete for playing time as a true freshman.
