John Gutt and Kevyn Rigatti had two goals apiece as the Lancers improved to 4-0 on the young season.  Rigatti and Gutt got back to back shorthanded goals in the first period with Gutt scoring on a penalty shot after being dragged down on a partial breakaway.  The Eagles were able to score late in the first and early in the second to tie the game at two, but Jake Larusso’s wrist shot on the power play gave what proved to be the game winning goal.  Gutt scored with nine seconds left in the second period on the power play to make it a 4-2 game.  Rigatti closed out the scoring with an empty net goal in the third period.  JSZ has the highlights from Middletown Ice World:
