Seton Hall Prep 8 Westfield 5 | Kirst Cup Final

The Pirates had to handle the Blue Devils, poor weather and even a 90-minute lightning delay to end the year as the No. 1 team in New Jersey. Top-seeded Seton Hall Prep completed the best season in program history Thursday night with a resounding win in the third-annual Kirst Cup postseason tournament. Nolan Sabel led all players with three goals while Charlie Killen tacked on two more for himself in the win. Third-seeded Westfield proved to be an incredibly tough opponent with great goaltending and a dangerous offense. Seton Hall Prep joins Ridgewood (2023) and Summit (2024) as Kirst Cup Champions.
