Westfield 40 Elizabeth 38 | Boys

Westfield (4-3) has now won three of their last four games following a 40-38 upset victory over Watchung Division rival No. 8 Elizabeth (2-1). The Blue Devils got out in front first, leading Elizabeth 24-16 at halftime. Going ahead by as man as 12 in the fourth quarter, the Minutemen rallied back to tie the game at 38-38 with 17 seconds remaining in regulation. Coming out of a timeout, 6’10 Davidson College commit Sean Logan then gave Westfield the lead with the eventual game-winning basket in the closing seconds.
