Fourth seed Lawrence (15-2) defeated top seed Lawrenceville (9-5) 4-1 to advance to the Mercer County Tournament Final. Despite Big Red taking a 1-0 lead to begin the third quarter, Princeton University commit Talia Schenck answered back with four goals for Lawrence as they halt Lawrenceville’s hopes of a fifth straight MCT Title. Schenck became the first player in state history to eclipse 100 goals in a single season, she entered the match with 97. The Cardinals will take on third seed Princeton Day.
