For the first-time ever, a non-football play has won JSZ’s Top Play Belt.
Roxbury forward Aiden Metz scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win for the Gaels over Morris County powerhouse Delbarton on Sept. 26. That play was named the No. 1 Play of the Week on Jersey Sports Zone TV, which aired Oct. 2 on WLNY-TV.
JSZ’s Jay Cook stopped by soccer practice on Tuesday to present Metz and the Gaels with his award:
