The first week of the 2021-2022 season had taken Roselle Catholic down to Camden and then out to New York. The Lions finally returned to Union County on Monday and went to work to deliver an overpowering 82-40 win over Union Catholic.

North Carolina commit Simeon Wilcher led the way with a 16-point, 11-rebound double-double for the Lions while Nebraska commit Jamarques Lawrence netted 12 points for Roselle Catholic (2-1) in the win. Union Catholic (0-1) got a spark from Kyle Smith in this game, who put up 15 points in the season-opening loss for the Vikings.
