Jake Tennant was 2-5 with 2 runs and 5 RBI’s to lead a 16 hit barrage for the Rockets who took the “A” Central lead after a 13-5 win at Holmdel. The Rockets scored six runs in the 2nd inning and added six more in the 5th. Holmdel came back from 7-1 down thanks to a grand slam from Sal Monticiollo to make it a 7-5 game, but Raritan put the game away in the 5th. Matt Birdsall had two hits and 3 RBI’s for Raritan who are now 8-2 in league play, one game better than Matawan with two games to go before the division crown is settled.
