These rivals didn’t play last year, but renewed their Anchor Bowl series in Erma on Thursday night. Remi Rodriguez rushed for 228 yards and two touchdowns in the win for Middle (1-1). The Panthers had four interceptions, with picks from Rodriguez, Chase Moore, Aydan Howell and Shaun Watkins. Dennis Serra had two sacks for the Caper Tigers (0-3) in the loss.
