Marlboro’s Matt Ringel saw his high school come out in full force to win the balloting for top performance last week
MARLBORO – Mustangs boys basketball coach Mike Nausedas nominated Matt Ringel for a Shore Sports Zone Game Ball after a triple double against Middletown South. Marlboro High rallied to cast 10,323 votes in 48 hours to hold off Toms River North and Mike Nyisztor to win the Monmouth Building Center Game Ball.
A special thanks to Monmouth Building Center in Shrewsbury for supporting high school athletes in Monmouth and Ocean County. It started with football honors and now we have basketballs and game pucks in the winter. This week’s SSZ Girls Game Ball winner was Middletown South’s Stephanie Karcz.
