Watchung Hills has been on a tear to open the 2022 season. Their toughest test in April – a matchup against Hunterdon Central – was on the docket and the Warriors sent their ace to the mound.
She delivered.
The Purdue University commit hurled a complete game two-hitter with a staggering 13 strikeouts in a 1-0 win over the Red Devils on April 21. Raymond was nominated for – and won – JSZ’s Week 3 North Jersey Softball Game Ball for that pitching performance. She collected nearly 41 percent of the fan vote to take home the honor.
