Mikayla Markham had 20 points and five three pointers to pace the Purple Roses to a win at the Festive of the Phoenix at Matawan High School. Ellyn Stoll added 16 for Saint Rose who are off to a 2-0 start to the season. The game was a matchup of defending state champions. Saint Rose had a 30-28 lead at the half and built a 10 point lead in the second half. Diamond Miller paced the Warriors with 20 points and would help Franklin close within three, but Saint Rose never relinquished the lead. Watch the highlights and post-game reaction here:
