Andrew Pullin drove in three runs including a solo blast and Ranfi Casimiro struck out eight in Lakewood’s 8-3 win over the Rome Braves on Sunday afternoon at First Energy Park.

The BlueClaws had a big first inning for a second consecutive game.  Jiandido Tromp got Lakewood on the board with an RBI single to right, followed by a sacrifice fly by Willians Astudillo and an RBI single to left by Mitch Walding to make it 3-1.

Ranfi Casimiro struck out the side in the third inning and settled down nicely after giving up just a run in the top of the 1st.  Casimiro finished with 8 strikeouts in six innings of work.  Rome starter Yean Carlos Gil came into the game with a 0.85 ERA, but the BlueClaws roughed him up.

Pullin smashed a double down the first base line in the fourth with the bases loaded to plate two runs and added a solo blast in the 6th.  Lakewood is on a three game win streak and improves to 16-25 on the season.
