There’s no more Tournament of Champions but we got the next best thing at American Dream Mall in East Rutherford.  Check out all the highlights of Bergen Catholic and Plainfield in the Throne National Championship!

Micah Gordon had 23 points, six rebounds and five assists to lead the 2-time Group 4 state champions to a win over the two-time Non-Public A state champions.  The NJSIAA abandoned the Tournament of Champions but the national showcse at American Dream Mall gave us the opportunity for the matchup after a Seattle nationally ranked team dropped out at the last minute.   Jaden Brown led the Crusaders with 19 points.  Plainfield advances to the Throne semifinals on Friday at 7:00 p.m against Christopher Columbus out of Miami.
